A previously unreleased demo from Finch has found its way onto the ol’ internet. The band, who broke up in late 2010 (for the second time), was supposedly working on a new album. Their second album, Say Hello to Sunshine, is a stunning record, one where they went rather leftfield from their early emo influenced post hardcore. After their return with an EP in 2008, they appeared to be going off again in the direction of first album, What It Is To Burn. With this new (old) song emerging, it’s quite clear that this would have been the case had the third album ever been made. Maybe it’s good that that album was never released. I’m going to go listen to Say Hello to Sunshine now.
