This is getting posted everywhere tonight but it’s worth having a look at. Noisey have released another new mini-doc, Rungs In A Ladder: Jacob Bannon, something of a profile on Converge’s Jacob Bannon, or even a monologue of sorts that shows his ambitions in life and what has brought up to this point. The doc is by no means flashy but the mix of various footage from his day to day life, background music and Bannon’s oratory is rather captivating and really held my undivided attention for its mere 12 minutes, and highlights how a somewhat shy man can front one of hardcore’s most confrontational bands.
