Daylight Dies are prepping the release of their new album A Frail Becoming, their first record in four years, a far too long a wait. 2008’s Lost to the Living was a standout from the year and deserved a quick follow-up but alas, it was not to be. ‘A Final Vestige’ is the band’s second taster of this new album. First track ‘Infidel’, which was released a few weeks ago, was surprisingly pacier for the melodic death doom band but this song sees the band return to more familiar territory with Egan O’Rourke emerging again with some of his beautiful clean vocals.
