German instrumental sludge band Blckwvs have announced their new LP – 0150 and their label This Charming Man Records are streaming a cut from the album via bandcamp called ‘0154’, the numbered names being a common theme in Blckwvs. What’s crucially different about this track is the presence of a female guest vocalist, whose name doesn’t appear to be credited anywhere for now; she lays down some spectral howls that are washed over by the band’s heaving Mastodon-y riffing. Are these vocals something that will be reoccurring on the album? Who knows right now. 0150 is scheduled for release on October 5th, have a listen to the new song below.
