The stunning Japanese instrumental rock collective Mono will release their new album, For My Parents, in September, the much anticipated follow-up to 2009’s Hymn to the Immortal Wind. This week the band released the first taster of the album in the shape of ‘Dream Odyssey’, a suitable title for the band’s lengthy dreamy soundscapes and as expected, the track is rife with lush string arrangements and spectral guitars that weave together for the quintessential Mono sound.
