Cleveland crust outfit, Masakari have another split in the works, this time a 5” with Grin and Bear It. A new track, ‘Contagion’, is streaming  and downloadable on their Bandcamp now or down below. The split, which is being put out by Halo of Flies, will be released next month. Masakari have been on a steady rise over the last few years since their Eden Compromised EP, which led to their impressive album The Prophet Feeds and last year’s resoundingly well-received split LP with Germany’s Alpinist, one of the best split releases of 2011 for sure. This is a band that are just getting better and better and this new 5” will do for now until the band get ready for a new LP.
