US black metal deities Nachtmystium are preparing the release of their new album, Silencing Machine and are now streaming a new song, ‘Borrowed Hope and Broken Dreams’, thanks to German magazine, Visions – HERE. The song sees the band tread a mid-paced gloomy path with meandering clean guitar flourishes that are dripping with a death/doom-like melancholy meanwhile Blake Judd’s vocals are that typical muddled BM shriek.
Silencing Machine is allegedly taking the band slightly away from the unpredictability of the previous two albums but this still shows Nachtmystium delighting in oh so gloomy and depressive fashion. Check it out HERE.
