Cattle Decapitation are streaming a new song now called ‘A Living, Breathing Defecating Piece of Meat’, and it’s taken from their new album, Monolith of Inhumanity, coming out in May. The band played this song live last Friday in Dublin during their ferocious set, which included plenty of new songs and this was one vicious example, and the recording here now only reinforces that. The band’s brand of deathgrind is firmly intact with the rich production that has featured on their most recent output, but it serves the song well, which also sees vocalist Travis Ryan utilise his manic, almost (I said almost) clean vocal style in the chorus.
