It’s been five years since New Zealand post rock band, Jakob released an album and they are currently working on a new full length right now, the much overdue follow-up to Solace. The band has posted a new clip online of various demo excerpts from their latest sessions.

However, steady your horses there. The clip doesn’t indicate that the new record will be emerging in the close future.

“We’re booked in at Roundhead studios end of September/October to record the new album. We’re hoping to release it early next year and then get over to Europe & UK to tour shortly after,” reads a post from the band’s official Facebook page.
