Stoner doom metal three piece Yob have posted a new track online from their forthcoming record, Atma, coming August 16th on Profound Lore. The nine minute ‘Prepare The Ground’ is streaming now over on Stereogum.
The new album will be the follow up to 2009’s lauded The Great Cessation. Yob’s output is that have of immensely crushing, sludging riffs creating seemingly impervious walls of sound for the listener with scratching vocals. ‘Prepare The Ground’ is a continuation of that.
