Within The Ruins is a subpar deathcore band that is releasing a new EP at the end of this month called Omen. It’ll contain two new songs as well as two covers… Metallica’s ‘Fight Fire With Fire’… and Kansas’ ‘Carry On My Wayward Song’. Did anyone hear the yawns? The latter has been done, the irony that is, a ludicrously heavy modern metal band having a go at a “dad rock” classic, that sounds derogatory which it’s not. Anyone with fully functioning ears will know that Kansas are the business.
