The mighty Drainland have released a new track, ‘Stairs’ from their forthcoming split LP with Galway’s Trenches.
The band played the song live last Monday when supporting Keelhaul and Knut, and it sounded monstrous. The recorded version, allowing for multiple listens, unveils a densely powerful track. Last year’s And So Our Troubles Began delivered some dauntingly heavy assaults and ‘Stairs’ is no different. If anything, it’s even more disquieting and unrelenting. Fantastic stuff again.
